The Festival of Media Latam , celebrating its 10th year in Miami from November 3-5 , will feature more advertisers on stage than before providing key insights into how they are coping with a chaotic world and evolving media landscape. In addition to topics such as OTT, homelessness or social impact , the agenda will analyze the role of politics, the threat of terrorism and how to make sense of the turbulence that dominates the world and what this means for media and marketing . Advertisers, including Mastercard, P&G, Kayak, Totto, Visa, Corox, Coty, PepsiCo and Corona , who are already part of the agenda, will offer inspiration, education and information on what is happening in the media in 2019, and with a view to the future.
These will be complemented by a host of key industry figures from companies including Teads, Clear Channel, Spotfiy, Facebook, Fox, Turner and Twitter. With a favorable trend since 2014, the results for the first half of the year represent the highest growth in the industry since the beginning of the century. Revenue from recorded music in Spain has registered a growth of 26.9% from January to June 2019 compared to the same period of the previous year. Regarding spending by Spaniards on online listening, CDs and vinyl, the figure amounts to 140.7 million euros , compared to 110.9 million euros.
