What happened in Ohrid? Here is a simplified and distilled version of the interpretations, some of which, following them from Saturday night, sounded like a version of "Big Brother", but with more pronounced political content. Kosovo and Serbia gave their agreement to the implementing Annex of the European Plan for the road to normalization. This agreement was given to EU representatives. EU representatives attached this letter to the proposal agreed earlier on February 27, and announced that they now have a fully agreed document. This fully agreed document was presented to the European Council on Monday and they welcomed it.
The European Union South Korea Phone Number List now considers this as a document, which it makes a legal part of the contractual relations with Serbia in chapter 35 of the EU membership negotiations, namely of its own contractual relations with Kosovo in the special arrangement of the SAA. The document agreed on February 27 and March 18 is an international agreement. But not between Kosovo and Serbia. It is between Serbia and the EU and Kosovo and the EU, something completely unusual in a normalization process. And this is part of a journey that knows its destination (the achievement of the legally binding Comprehensive Agreement, which is the code name for an agreement centered on mutual recognition), but that passes through Terra incognita, unknown, untrodden ground.
until now. 2. The journey of the document through unknown land is common to the EU, Kosovo and Serbia. As of this week, the three parties must come to terms with a new reality, and that is that the foundation of this journey is the fact that Kosovo and Serbia have agreed (with the EU) that the basis of their relations will be the equivalence of their own separate legal identities. Or to put it more simply, the equality of their mutual states. This has never happened in Kosovo's relations with Serbia. This has happened, with great difficulty, in Serbia's relations with the other republics of the former Yugoslavia (with two of which it has been at war, BiH and Croatia), but this is a mental border which has been insurmountable until today for Serbia's absolute majority.
